Job Title: Graduate – Occupational Therapist

Salary: €38,000 – €41,000 per annum
Job description
- As an Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics) within our practice, you will have the unique opportunity to specialize in working with children with intellectual difficulties.
- Under the guidance of experienced Occupational Therapists, you will receive mentorship, training, and hands-on experience to enhance your skills and confidence in treating patients independently.
- Your role will involve promoting neurological development , facilitating learning, and fostering inclusion for children of all ages.
- Additionally, you will liaise with multidisciplinary teams and professionals outside of the organization to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to children with intellectual difficulties, focusing on neurological development , learning, and inclusion.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, speech therapists, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and support.
- Educate and support families in understanding and implementing therapy goals and strategies at home.
- Participate in ongoing mentorship, training, and upskilling opportunities provided by the practice.
- Work towards achieving independence in treating patients while receiving guidance and support from experienced Occupational Therapists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU
- Passion for working with children with intellectual difficulties and promoting their inclusion into society.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and upskill through mentorship and hands-on training.
